John Galsworthy was an English novelist and playwright. Notable works include "The Forsyte Saga" (1906-1921) and its sequels, A Modern Comedy and End of the Chapter. He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1932.
Bound in full-leather with four raised bands and bright stamped gilt lettering to spine. Book shows mild external handling wear. Binding is firm. Volume has gilt edges and pastedowns with ornamental gilt borders. Flyleaves display darkened edges from gilt. All edges gilt. Text clean and without markings.
