Aurel Stein on his Asian explorations, Hugh Robert Mill on Antarctic (including one on Shackleton with full-page silhouette, with numerous others including mountaineering, motoring travels, desert exploration, aviation, travels by train, dirigible, travel photography, etc.
Subjects include nautical exploration, hunting in Central Africa, aerial flight, and winter in India, Basically every part of the world and every mode of transportation is included. There are also travel and exploration book reviews.
Rust colored cloth boards with black titles and front decoration. Moderate handling wear. Minor spots of bio-predation on spine. Volume 1 has fading to a section of front board. Corners slight bumps. Text clean, with minor scattered foxing. Volume 1 Jan – April printed on glossy paper.
