Red-brown cloth covered boards. Stamped gilt titles decoration in black. Color title page & customary title page. Minimal handling wear. Bindings square and very firm. Text clean, no ownership markings. Light foxing associated with plates.

The author wrote late 19th century religious and moral tales some for the juvenile audience. This title was not located on OCLC or elsewhere. This is surprising as this book is well made. The story is a “romance” with heavy moral and religious undertones.
