Collated and all called-for illustrations are present.

Bound in green leather, with raised bands, ornate gilt decorations and a gilt-lettered black leather label to the spine. Adorned with marbled edges and endpapers.

External handling wear, with light soiling and rubbing to the covers. Bindings tight and square. A previous owner's elegantly written notations appear on a blank pages at the front and rear of the volume. Pages and engraved plates exhibit scattered foxing and offsetting opposite plates. Pages 62 and 63 have a closed tear to the bottom half (measuring approximately 3.5 inches; text not affected).
