Half leather with marbled endpages. Spine decorated in gilt with six partitions. Two title pages one tissue-guarded Lithograph with elaborate with full color and decorations. Previous owner's name on second title page. Slight shelf lean.Some spotting mainly on perimeter of pages. Text bright and extremely readable.

A lovely engraved first initial starts each chapter. Five engraved plates some lacking tissue-guards. Wear to edges with rubs.
