First Edition, First Printing. Illustrated Wraps. Wraps of quarter red cloth and printed orange glazed paper over flexible card wrappers string tied. Two  folding maps one in color [12.25 by 16.5 & 32.5 by 17.75 inches & with 48 pages of illustrated text. 4.5 by 6.875 inches. 

The bindings are good with strings loosening.  Text clean, light even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear with some rubbing. Stamp of Fine Arts College on lower front corner

The Centennial International Exhibition of 1876, the first official World's Fair to be held in the United States, was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from May 10 to November 10, 1876, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia more than 10 million people viewed the works of 30,000 exhibitors.
