Blue cloth with titles in gilt-and- white lozenge on upper boards, extravagant gilt decoration on upper boards and spines, beveled boards, top edge gilt; in burgundy cloth dustwrappers with titles printed on the spines. -
An elaborate and impressive production, featuring four early plates by Arthur Rackham as well as 28 others by Darley, Barraud, and other leading artists.
Bindings tight and square. Text clean, Minimal handling wear to the corners. Dust jackets light handling wear with some age-fading on the spine titles.
