This delightful children's series was established by Ralph Mayhew and published jointly by Harper & Brothers and Columbia Graphophone Company between 1918-1922.
Square 6 by 7.25 inches; 16pp, incl. sleeves for small 78 rpm records. Each with the words, illustrations and a record of the song. [not all records are present] Color Illustrations are by Rhoda Chase.
Offering four volumes: [First] The Bubble Book: Tom, the Piper's Son (with record), Mary and Her Little Lamb (no record) and Jack and Jill (no record).
Second Bubble Book: Simple Simon (with record), Little Bo-Peep (no record) and Old King Cole (with record)
Third Bubble Book, Singing Games: Miss Jennia Jones (with record), The Farmer in the Dell (with record) and Lazy Mary (no record)
Fifth Bubble Book, The Pie Party: Little Jack Horner (with record), Sing a Song of Sixpence (with record), The Queen of Hearts & Good King Arthur (Record present but broken) Each text is clean and bindings firm. All show age-toning and have edge and corner wear. The spines are worn with loss on #3 and #5.
