Publisher's decorative olive-green cloth stamped in blue-gray, black and gilt, spine gilt, lettered in gilt, blue-gray endpapers patterned in brown. 8vo, xiv, [15]-575, [1 blank] + [2] ad pp. 8.5 inches. Illustrated with 44 wood-engraved plates and numerous text illustrations (some full-page) by Dan Beard.

Bindings are tight and square. Text clean, light even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear with lower corners rubbed and light wear on spine tips.

Hank Morgan, knocked out during a fight, comes to in Camelot in the year 528, where he avoids execution by successfully predicting an eclipse, uses 19th century weapons to help repel an attack, marries, and has a child only to be put into a deep sleep by Merlin, to reawaken in his proper era.
