The stationary measures 8.5 inches by 5.5 inches. Written in period cursive with the stationary rotated to its long side. Folded into thirds.
Signed by the author: Emma Burnett Harris and dated February 23, 1914.
The date was established from the envelop, also of the Salt Air Hotel where the poem was located and addressed in the author's hand to a Dr. Peck.
The Salt Air Hotel was opened in 1913 and torn down in 1959 to make way for the "ultra-modern" Town House Hotel on Flagler Drive in Pam Beach Florida.
