Wraps with black titles and a publisher's red dot on the front. The bindings are tight and square. Text clean, light even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear with wear to the spine. Wraps have age toning.

Author Bulliet, art critic for the Chicago Daily News, wrote extensive catalogue entries to complement each of the 136 plates. The exhibition principally consisted of Old Masters, however a few contemporary artists are included. Reprinted from the Chicago Daily News.
