The bindings are tight and square. Text is clean; light, even age-toning. Moderate shelf handling wear with light corner rubs and spine tips frayed.

Laid-in is a handwritten review/blurbs from Horizon Books publisher Ben Raeburn. [unsigned] The book is from his estate. This note may have been part of his publication efforts.

Ben Raeburn, the founder of Horizon Books, had a significant professional relationship with Ezra Pound. Raeburn was instrumental in publishing some of Pound's works during the 1940s and 1950s, particularly after Pound's release from St. Elizabeths Hospital, where he was held for treason during World War II. Raeburn's efforts helped reintroduce Pound's poetry to a wider audience and supported the dissemination of Pound's ideas and literary legacy during a critical period of his career. Their collaboration played a crucial role in shaping Pound's later literary reputation and influence.
