The first two volumes are a history of Florida and last two volumes contain biographies of notable figures in Florida history

Illustrated with a frontispiece in each volume: Vol. I: State Capitol Building, Vol II: Florida Supreme Court Building, Vol III: J. B. Whitfield, Vol. IV: William Thomas Cash); numerous illustrations throughout including maps, plates, portraits.

The bindings are tight and square. Text clean, light even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear. The cloth has minor loss of color on the spines. Top corner chipped on page 260 & 262 of vol 2.

William Cash was state librarian from 1927 to 1951.  Uncommon to find this significant four volume set intact.
