Each signed piece represents a high point in late-80s speculative fiction:
+++ Walter Jon Williams, a multiple Hugo nominee, signs his Civil War–themed alternate history 'No Spot of Ground'.
+++ Orson Scott Card signs 'Dogwalker', one of his most anthologized cyberpunk stories, later reprinted in 'Maps in a Mirror'.
+++ Allen M. Steele’s 'Ride to Live, Live to Ride' is an early appearance of his recurring character Virgin Bruce, part of the Orbital Decay universe.
+++ Jack C. Haldeman II inscribes his poem 'Balanced Scales', a rare signature from the respected short-form author and brother of Joe Haldeman.

Condition:
Light general handling; faint scuff where an address label was removed; minor rubbing at spine ends; pages evenly age-toned but supple. Binding secure. Four signatures in total: one inscribed (Haldeman), one with an indecipherable message (Williams), and one at the top margin of text (Steele).
