Otis Adelbert Kline was a popular Argosy writer in the vein of Edgar Rice Burroughs. He specialized in planetary romances set on Mars and Venus, so it was inevitable that he would follow in Burroughs’ literary footsteps by creating a version of Tarzan of the Apes to call his own.
