Vincent Di Fate (b. 1945) is a leading American science fiction illustrator celebrated for his precise, visionary depictions of spacecraft and futuristic technology. Winner of the Hugo Award (1979) and multiple Chesley Awards, he also received the Frank R. Paul and Lensman Awards for lifetime achievement. His book Infinite Worlds (1997) remains a landmark study of science fiction art.

Provenance: From the estate of Jeri Kandel of Sarasota, Florida. Jeri, an aspiring Sci-Fi/Horror author, was active in the Florida West Coast Sci-Fi–Fantasy community. She served as a volunteer for DragonCon in Atlanta and other Florida West Coast and Orlando conventions, and as an active member of ASFA (Association of Science Fiction & Fantasy Artists), through which she acquired many remarkable autographs.
